Weston LaBar, Executive Director of the Harbor Trucking Association, offered thoughts on ways to address the issue including:

• Discontinuing storage at marine terminals.
• Offering storage of chassis at designated yards throughout the harbor area.
• On-site pre-inspections and repairs, where necessary.
